On television today a Democratic operative pointed out that when Obama holds a rally 25-30,000 people show up, whereas when McCain holds one he only draws 10-15,000.
The Republican spokesman replied, "That's because McCain's supporters are at work."

Neither candidate has an answer. . . .
I would have thought the McCain and Obama campaigns would have a more meaningful response to the economic news of the last two days, but neither candidate's website have any comments, let alone answers."
Who is going to be bold enough to address this crisis? Which of these two candidates fosters confidence in you that they can lead our country out of this mess?

What is your number one need from your next President?
What do you need or expect more than anything else from the next President and their cabinet? I want an energy policy that will help our country be less dependent on foreign resources. Oil prices have affected the price of everything, making the cost of living more expensive without providing a means to keep up with it, let alone get ahead. Do you think that either of these candidates is going to commit to developing and then executing a meaningful energy solution strategy, or is too risky to be held accountable to a real and defined promise?

Have We Forgotten?
.bmp)
Yesterday was the seventh anniversary of 9/11 and both Presidential canditates, McCain and Obama, were present at ground zero for the memorial ceremony. Last night as I was watching a documentary on the September 11 attacks, so many feeling came rushing back to me as the images of that day were shown on the tv. Feelings of confusion, fear, anger, and sorrow for all of those who lost loved ones.
During the documentary, a cameraman was able to capture people in Time Square who were watching everything unfold on the Good Morning America Screen. It was interesting to see how mad they were and how they wanted to "kill those who were behind this," with others saying, "we need to go to war and fight back!" I couldn't help but wonder what both McCain and Obama were thinking as they stood at ground zero yesterday while the names of those who died were being read. Did McCain wonder if we had made the right decision to go to war? Did Obama re-think his plan to pull troops out of Iraq? It seems we have forgotten why we are war, or at least we forget until the anniversary comes up each year.
